If you don’t have this one thing, Gen Z won’t even THINK about buying from you.

I had an interesting conversation with my 22-year-old sister this morning about a purchasing decision she made SOLELY based on the social media presence of a business. It got me thinking…This is how I make purchasing decisions; this is how my sister makes purchasing decisions and TRULY–this is how the majority of other Gen Zer’s like us make purchasing decisions.

Let me back up and explain the situation to you.

My sister has been seeing an Esthetician in the Twin Cities area for a few months now to get a lash lift + tint done. She’s loved the result; been super happy with the Esthetician she’s worked with, and she had no plan to stop having the service done.

That is until she received this text:

“Hi! This is the owner of company name. I wanted to let you know that Esthetician name is actually moving to Florida and will no longer be at company name for your appointment on the 24th. We do have the same day and time available with alternate Esthetician name who does a fantastic job if that works for you! I will scoot you over to her.”

Here’s word for word what my sister texted me next:

“The Esthetician they rescheduled me with has an Instagram Page with only 2 posts, so I went on and cancelled”

Followed directly by this text:

“Shows you how important your social media presence is tho.”

Keep in mind, my sister doesn’t work in business, social media or marketing.

Why should this matter to you?

Because according to Snapchat for Business, “Gen Z was predicted to account for 40% of global consumers at the end of 2023” (Snap Inc., 2023).

If you want to stay relevant in a world that turns to social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram over Google to deem whether or not your business is credible and worthy of investment, then you need a consistent, high quality, and relevant social media presence.

Let this serve as a reminder of just how important it is that you invest time and money into your Social Media Marketing. It’s time to take your presence to the next level.

Cheers to fueling impact & funding dreams!

Multipliteddd

oh hey there!

Before Multiplieddd, I dreamt of a service that would give business owners time back with their families & provide work-life balance. I had seen first hand what it felt like to “wear all the hats” as a business owner and how hard it is to balance it all as an entrepreneur.
