Posting On Instagram Alone Won’t Bring You More Business

Posting on Instagram is simply the FIRST STEP in maximizing your conversion from follower to client. You also need to…

  1. ENGAGE INTENTIONALLY – Start by spending 10-30 mins daily engaging on Instagram. Set a timer & get to it! Like content, comment on content, and interact on the stories of your target audience and relevant accounts. If you want to get more strategic & specific in terms of WHO you are engaging with, we’d love to help.   2. CONNECT WITH NEW FOLLOWERS – Authentically greet each new follower to ensure you are opening the door for a conversation. They followed you for a reason (if your content is niche specific, it might just be because they need what you offer). You never know where the conversation might lead! If the vibe feels right, ask them how they found you. LISTEN to them – Show them that you CARE for them and are INTERESTED in them. This platform is all about CONNECTION.
  3. STRATEGICALLY SHARE FREEBIES/GUIDES – Do you get asked the same question often? As a Realtor, maybe it’s “How do I know if I’m ready to buy a home?” If you’re a Health Coach, maybe it’s “How do I increase protein intake?” Take those FAQ’s and turn them into a FREE guide that people can download in exchange for their email & phone number. Promote the freebies on your stories, in your content CTA’s & put them in the link in your bio! Doing so will get the people who are interested in what you do off of Instagram & into your email list for continuous follow up communication! ***REMEMBER: You don’t want to give everything away for free. It will actually do the exact opposite of what you are hoping for. When you give too much away for free, they have no reason to buy what you are selling. Give just enough value that it leaves them wanting MORE. More = Your offer(s).
  4. TRACK LEADS/FOLLOW UP – Whether you do this in a spreadsheet, in the notes on your phone, or in a notebook, make sure you do so consistently. This ensures that you ALWAYS have leads to talk to. More conversations = more conversions. Tracking is the best way to make sure no lead from Instagram is left behind!
