Hi, friend!
We recently received the following question from an online health coach who’s trying to grow her business via social media marketing:
Coach: “I heard that creating and editing my Instagram Reels through a third-party app will negatively impact my reach. Is that true?”
We decided to do a little digging and can confidently confirm that “This myth is busted!”
Along those same lines, we want you to know and understand what POSITIVELY impacts your reach rate when it comes to social media marketing. Statistics show that the following strategies help increase your reach rate and your chances of being seen amongst the crowd:
- Grabbing your audience’s attention within the first three seconds
- Using a mix of speaking into the camera and trending audio
- Creating Reels that get people sharing and saving
- Writing well, thought-out captions with a strong hook and call to action
- Sharing your Reels on your stories
If you’re already doing all of these things, GREAT! Keep going because the fact is, consistency eventually pays off.
Sure, some creators get lucky and hit the jackpot unexpectedly, but those people are the rare exceptions to the rule. MOST people who reach what we’ll call “social media success” are the ones who show up consistently over the long term and implement strategies like the ones listed above.
Fortunately, The Social Society’s monthly social media membership focuses on what works and what doesn’t. Our goal is to help you consistently show up each week with high-quality Reel templates + captions while also keeping up with what’s trending and the ever-changing algorithm!
In short – we do the work so you don’t have to!
