Stop posting social media content like an influencer
The YOU Factor Edit
BECAUSE THE ALGORITHM CAN’T REPLICATE WHAT ONLY YOU CAN BRING
If you own a business, it's time to stop posting social media content like an influencer.
Being seen as an "influencer" on social media as a business owner isn't a flex.
But being an authoritative, trusted voice in your industry? That will make you more $ than an influencer could ever make.
Posting days in the life, trends, voiceovers, b-roll videos with an aspirational message, it all serves a purpose.
But if that's all you're posting solely because it gets you the most reach & engagement, you're not even scratching the surface of all that's possible for your business on social media.
I come across too many accounts that are chock-full of relatable, humorous, valuable content and let me just say: If you're not achieving the goals you desire, you need to start focusing on sales/conversion based content.
EXAMPLES OF SALES CONTENT:
Testimonials
Before & afters
Storytelling about a client's journey working with you
Belief/myth busting
Showcasing results
Data + research about what you do
3rd party validation (think: Remixing with another experts video, interviewing a client on your podcast, etc.)
Earlier this week in 2 separate Discovery Calls I had 2 prospective clients tell me that they loved how we blast results/testimonials all over our social media pages and our website.
I don't care if a testimonial post gets 10 likes and a funny Reel gets 100 likes, I value the sales content above all else because it MOVES THE NEEDLE.
If you're ready to implement a conversion-focused social media strategy for your business and you want someone to manage all of the content for you, book a Discovery Call!
