How We Create Strategic Monthly Content Plans for Our Clients: Part 1
The YOU Factor Edit:
BECAUSE THE ALGORITHM CAN’T REPLICATE WHAT ONLY YOU CAN BRING
Each month, we create content calendars for our custom social media management clients that are strategically aligned with the goals they want to achieve in their businesses.
This week and next, we want to take you behind the scenes to show you what our entire content calendar creation process looks like internally.
STEP 1: Strategy Meeting
I (Brooke, the Chief of Growth and Co-Owner of Multiplieddd) host a strategy meeting with each of our Social Media Managers every month. During that meeting, we deep dive into each client’s account. We look at it from a bird’s-eye view: Do we feel there are any gaps in the messaging? How is the overall aesthetic of the page? Is the client’s bio still clear and search engine optimized? Are the images on the feed enticing enough to make someone want to click into the content when they land on the client’s page?
Together, we spot gaps and areas to improve for the upcoming month.
STEP 2: Review Analytics
Within the back-end analytics, we assess which content was top-performing and which was lowest-performing. We always repurpose top-performing content because if a piece of content performed well once, it will typically perform well again.
You don’t need to reinvent the wheel, you just need to find what works and continually optimize around that. And if certain content doesn’t perform well, we note that and avoid creating similar content moving forward.
STEP 3: Trend Forecasting
Every month, we provide our entire team with a list of what we predict will be trending and relevant. What holidays are coming up, and how can we tap into their spirit? What pop culture events can we tie into our content? What new movies, music, or TV show seasons are launching?
If the masses care about something, we should too. That’s how you create marketing that turns heads and makes people care.
Next week, I’ll walk you through the remaining steps we take to create strategic content calendars. It’s an in-depth process designed to create with excellence, and that’s exactly why most business owners struggle to do it themselves or even delegate it internally.
There’s so much research, data collection, expertise, and strategy that goes into everything we do here at Multiplieddd, and we’d be honored to take social media management off your plate.
